This is our most affordable Green tea for daily drinking. It is a great tea for its price for those who can't get enough Green tea but can't splash out on a daily supply of the top shelf tea. That is not to say that this is low grade tea, in fact it is a lovely spring picked Green with a generous amount of bud and downy leaves compared with other Chun Mee.
Mountain Green has more warming, vegetal notes than your average Fujian or Zhejiang Green. This is because it is an Anhui tea made with the Chun Mee cultivar and made in the Young Hyson (Xi Chun) style. Mountain Green does not have the smokiness associated with lower quality Chun Mee or Gunpowder tea.
