Celebrating 5k Subscribers on YouTube

Celebrating in the London sun with an aged Oolong.

Many years ago a good friend once said 'always remember to celebrate' and I recall being affected by this comment because I hardly ever celebrate my achievements. It is almost as if the achievements were expected and nothing to be celebrated but simply chalked off the to-do lists.

I know that reaching 5k subscribers on YouTube these days may not mean that much when a couple of videos of my cat would probably have gotten us there instantly, but there is something really satisfying that all of our followers are so engaged and passionate about tea.

So we decided to go out and celebrate with a Dan Cong on our favourite hill in London.

Watch the story of that Chaozhou clay pot.

We think you’ll love:

Dark and smooth GABA tea. Deep roasted nuts, tarmac and coffee. Fleeting spices like black cardamom, antique wood and black liquorice.

Jiao Gu Lan - Gynostemma pentaphyllum

A powerful immune boosting adaptogenic herb with a vast variety of reported health benefits. Licorice sweet and grassy.

Bamboo tray designed for preparing and inspecting tea.

Da Ye Kuding - Ilex kaushue

Very strong calming herb with a smoky aroma and powerful medicinal bitterness moving to sweetness.
